Apartment Ministry
The Lafayette Village Apartment Ministry of Sterling Wood Church is run by Nancy Young. It was started 5 years ago to assist refugees, children, and those in need. The apartment ministry partners with Helping Hands to provide food for hungry children Monday-Thursday 3-5 pm during the school year, and lunch during the Summer. Sterling Wood has provided school supplies, transportation, and clothing for the apartment residents.

Please pray I get a car loan! Please pray I get a loan! Please pray I can keep both jobs for a year! Pray that my second job will give me enough time to get some rest! A good schedule! Please pray for favor with managers! I have bad knees and have to work 80 hours a week! Please pray my knees and ankles won’t be injured that God will give my legs the necessary supernatural strength to make it on my legs doing both jobs! I sprained my ankle and I’m in a boot cast pray they will continue to let me work and I won’t get fired! Please pray for healing! I’m having to stop payment on debts please pray they won’t take me to court! Pray I can stay in my apartment til I get a new one! Please pray God will provide money for a new apartment because my mom died! I may have to live in a hotel pray I get an affordable rate! Please pray I won’t be homeless! Pray God will provide for my financial needs! Pray we get stimulus checks and I will get one!

Mom has 2 pulmonary embolisms and she’s on life support she may have brain damage! Please pray she can talk and will be responsive! Her blood pressure drops please pray for stable blood pressure and heart rate! She also has a hematoma in her leg! Please pray she her lungs can get strong enough to get off the ventilator! Please pray bleeding stops completely and no more hematomas! Her kidneys have taken a hit! Please pray for full kidney function! She had surgery! Please pray for complete healing and that she can make a full recovery and come home! Please pray that God will bless me and mom’s relationship! Please pray I can keep my apartment and get a good paying second job! Also please pray my car keeps running good!Please also pray that I get a nonprofit startup grant!
